These Shims are for the Cotton Trifecta Half Pad
All shimmable pads begin with an Ultra ThinLine 3/16” panel over top of the base pad. Each saddle pad has a pocket beneath the Ultra ThinLine to place optional shims for fine tuning saddle fit.
These shims have been carefully designed by Master Saddlers. They are custom cut with a tapered edge to ensure you will never have a pressure point. Our exclusive foam makes saddles fit better and horses more comfortable.
Adjust saddle fit and add more protection for your horse all in one easy step. Inserts stay put without shifting and you may stack up to three sets. We do not divide the pocket, allowing you or your saddle fitter to place the inserts precisely where your horse needs it. If you find you no longer need inserts, just remove them and keep all the great benefits of your ThinLine Pad!
There is 2 thickness of shims to choose from:
- Ultra ThinLine (3/16”)
- ThinLine Plus (1/4”)
Shims come in:
The ThinLine Plus Booster Shim only comes in one single full-length shim that will boost your pad’s overall thickness from the original 3/16” to an even ¼”. The ThinLine Boost Shim has a thickness of 5mm.
Another option is the Saddle Fitter’s Kit which is available for all styles of pads. This package includes one set of front shims in the ThinLine Plus (1/4”) thickness and two sets of rear shims in the Ultra ThinLine (3/16”) Thickness.
Please note, ThinLine Plus shims are available in black only. Ultra ThinLine shims may arrive in black, brown or white. Shims cannot be seen inside your pad, so color is not an issue. If you have a set of shims with texture on top it is Ultra ThinLine.
Each style of saddle pad will have a different shaped shim. Make sure you order the correct shim to match your pad.
